Michael Kors S/S 2011

This is one of my favorite collection of S/S 2011. In a palette of whites, beiges and sands - with pops of verdant green and canary yellow—Kors' collection was more at ease than it has been of late, less slickness and artifice. There were plenty of Kors staples to be found: long, linen skirts , exceptionally thin knit sweaters and turtlenecks, crisp button-downs and loosely woven fisherman textiles. Key pieces included a sleeveless trench, the tightly ruffled skirts (in violet and green), the generously cut slacks (another trend Kors picked up on - a sequined pair was ravishing), a bright yellow shift and a khaki shirtdress-cum-trenchcoat.
