Malin Akerman Replaces Lindsay Lohan In ‘Inferno’
Poor Lindsay Lohan. The one thing she had to hold on to during her whole ordeal over the summer was that she was a working actress attached to star in the Linda Lovelace biopic, Inferno. It came up during every court hearing and every new celebrity person toted it as proof that she still had a career. And now, all that remains is the breeze of the career train passing her by once again. Lindsay Lohan has been replaced with Malin Akerman.
On one hand, I’m kind of saddened by this news. I was genuinely (and ungenuinely, for that matter) looking forward to Lohan in this role. As a warm blooded male, of course I was up for a fiery redhead playing a porn star. But as someone with more than half a brain and a fan of Mean Girls, I thought this could be something great for her. The Linda Lovelace story is a very tragic tale and if Lohan could pull it off it would’ve been fantastic.
But alas, it seems the unfortunate is true. The producers and director just couldn’t get it made with Lohan in the role. I don’t know if it's fact or not that she doesn’t show up sometimes or never has her lines ready, but I do understand that the people behind the movie can’t exactly wait on her to get her act together. They have a dedication to the movie that can’t wait so it's unfortunate that they couldn’t wait on Lohan. It's also unfortunate that she was a totally selfish talentless bitch to them and they dropped her harder than the second week box office of a Twilight movie.
Either way, we now have Malin Akerman in the role. In trading a redheaded drug enthusiast for a blond Swede who has a penchant for getting naked on screen, you aren’t really losing. Akerman has been a pleasant surprise in her movies (Watchmen, Harold and Kumar) and has a surprisingly good taste for comedy (Children’s Hospital and Wanderlust). She has done the serious acting, but never this high profile. We would be excited about this project even if Akerman wouldn’t be getting very naked, but sometimes life gives your lemons... and hot naked Swedes.

Beyonce, King's, Swift Are Top Grammy Grabbers
Beyonce was the Los Angeles event's biggest winner, claiming six of the 10 honors for which she was nominated.
These included Song of the Year, Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance awards for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)."
Swift took home her first four Grammys, including the coveted Album of the Year award, and Kings of Leon's anthem "Use Somebody" earned the rockers prizes for Record of the Year, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
The Black Eyed Peas and Jay-Z were also triple winners at the Grammys, as was the San Francisco Symphony, thanks to its album Mahler: Symphony No. 8; Adagio from Symphony No. 10.
The event's winners were overshadowed by a clutch of terrific performances from acts like Green Day, Pink, Dave Matthews Band, Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas.
Elton John and Lady Gaga collaborated to open the show, and there were further mash-ups for Jamie Foxx, T-Pain and Slash, Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli, Eminem, Drake and Lil Wayne, and Taylor Swift and Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks.
But the event's highlight was a star-studded tribute to Michael Jackson; Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Smokey Robinson and Carrie Underwood teamed up to perform the King of Pop's "Earth Song."
The stunning collaboration was accompanied by a 3-D version of the "Earth Song" video Jackson planned to use as a backdrop during his This Is It concerts last summer.
Stars like Beyonce, Rihanna and will.i.am were among the audience members who donned special 3-D glasses to fully appreciate the spectacular musical moment.
They ended the song with their backs to the crowd, staring at images of Jackson, which were flashed onto the big screen behind them, as the audience rose to its feet to applaud the performance, which presenter Lionel Richie called "unbelievable."
Following the showstopper, Jackson's children Prince and Paris took the Staples Center stage to honor their father, a recipient of one of the night's Lifetime Achievement Awards.
In his first public speaking appearance, Prince thanked God for "watching over us these past seven months" and "our grandma and grandpa for their love and support."
Both Jackson children ended their brief acceptance speeches with the words "We love you daddy".

Miley Cyrus Caught Sexting?
• Uh-oh Miley, what happened to your clothes? The singer and teen idol has some ‘splainin’ to do after nude pictures surfaced this morning on a Canadian blog. Supposedly, Cyrus sexted the photos which were stored on her allegedly stolen iPhone, but since they are clearly missing the tattoo she now has under her breast, it could be an underage pic of the now 18 year old star or it could be a fake. Either way, it's all a little fishy. Of course Miley claims it isn’t her, but after seeing her skanky leather birthday outfit that I can only guess was inspired by Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrrty” video, I wouldn’t put it past her. -The Daily News
• Darren Aronofsky really wants to see Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis make out again. After the ladies steamed up the screen in his latest flick, Black Swan, men everywhere thanked God for their good fortune. In an interview with MTV, Aronofsky made an appeal to make it happen all over again, saying he hoped the film would get an MTV movie award for “Best Kiss” so he could relive the glory of the infamous scene. He may be wildly talented, but he’s still a dude and no straight guy would turn down the chance to see those two make out...again. -MTV
• Britney Spears is sick and tired of all this talk about the audio tapes her former husband of less than a day has been leaking to gossip sites. The tapes condemn Brit’s boyfriend or fiancé (but who really cares) of beating her, but Brit’s not taking it, y’all. She fired back on her Twitter saying “PS – Star Magazine, Radar Online, Jason Alexander and the rest of you liars, Ya’ll can kiss my lily white southern Louisiana ass!” Don’t worry Brit, the tapes make you out to sound like a character from Gone With The Wind, so I don’t think anyone was actually buying it anyway. - E!
• Okay, now before I say anything, promise me you won’t panic. Justin Timberlake has been injured and he may never dance again….okay not really. He’s just injured and he’ll be totally fine. The star hurt his leg while filming a stunt on set for his upcoming sci-fi thriller, Now, but he returns to the set today so all is well. (The film where no one ages past 25 and hottie Olivia Wilde is playing his mother. Talk about mommy issues.) - Us
• Leave it to The Gosselins to ruin Christmas. Kate Gosselin’s darling gaggle of eight kids don’t believe in Santa Claus - their childhood has officially been stolen from them. Great job, John and Kate. But it’s not just their youths that are ruined; the kids have taken to sharing their joyless wisdom with schoolmates, telling them Santa doesn’t exist and “your parents have been lying to you.” This seizure of youthful delight has caused Jon a few headaches thanks to calls from angry parents deploring him to stop letting his cheerless children ruin Santa for everyone else. Most wonderful time of the year, eh? -Radar Online
• Last but not least, Tea Party politician Christine O’Donnell has used her star power to set a plan in motion to release a new drinking game. The game will be released by St. Martin’s Press will come in the form of a book chronicling her frustrations with everyone’s preoccupations about her views on masturbation and her admission about dabbling in witchcraft that factored into her eventual loss in the Senate race. Okay, so it’s not a drinking game per se, but that’s sure as hell what I’ll be using it for. -EW

Michael Cere Acheives Indie Godliness
Just as Luke Skywalker eventually completed his training and became a real Jedi, Michael Cera has completed his Indie training and he’s now achieved the Jedi-esque goal of joining indie rock super group, Mister Heavenly, as their bassist for the entirety of their tour with big name band, Passion Pit.
He’s become the de facto shy guy hipster, playing his awkward self time and again in movies like Paper Heart and Juno. Check out this video of Cera fulfilling his destiny in his first show with his new cohorts. He did have to endure some jesting from the crowd about his past roles, but he gets to be an indie God and a rock star at the same time so he better not complain.
Even though he tries to stay out of the spotlight for most of the performance, his telltale signature red hat pops up throughout. Next time you try to hide your presence, how about you don’t wear the same outfit you have on in the internet meme featuring that embarrassing prancing photo.

Celebrity Style: The Best Of Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman is a modern day Audrey Hepburn. Like her predecessor, she always looks perfectly put together, whether she’s leaving the airport in a funky vintage dress or gracing the red carpet in a tulle Rodarte gown (the sister-duo are her favorite designers!). Her style, while classic, is always fun, and every now and then she surprises us by doing something daring like shaving off her gorgeous brunette locks! With her new film Black Swan about to hit theaters—a film filled with Natalie in gorgeous ballerina garb—there couldn’t be a more ideal time to check out The Best of Natalie!

Jessica Simpson Proves She's Not Pregnant
• Jessica Simpson really wants to prove she’s not having a shotgun wedding, y’all. She and her fiancé were slinging back margaritas and tequila shots after the Rockefeller Center tree lighting in New York. Nothing says, “No way in hell am I having a baby” like drunken PDA and tequila shots. You win, Ms. Simpson. -NY Post • Cute as a button actress Reese Witherspoon finally got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In case her toothy grin and goldilocks weren’t enough, she accepted star No. 2,425 alongside her rosy cheeked 11 year old daughter and adorable 7 year old son. Oh, and for good measure, she was also holding a puppy. Cute overload; I think my brain just turned into fluffy, pink cotton candy.

• Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis gave up their “sweatpants nights” watching Top Chef for months and months of training and celery sticks for Black Swan (okay, I’m assuming the celery sticks part). Kunis said while filming she was “always hungry” and once she was finished she broke her ballerina diet with Panda Express at the JFK food court. I’d make some snarky comment about the lowliest form of airport food, but she earned it. Enjoy that greasy grub, girlie. -MTV
• Don’t ask Kirsten Dunst about the latest it-couple. Apparently Jake Gyllenhaal’s latest love interest is a sore spot for Dunst, who snapped at reporters at the New York premiere of All Good Things. In the wake of his Taylor Swift romance, the question on everyone’s mind is what Jake’s on-again off-again girlfriend up until 2004 thinks, right? Or maybe we’re all wondering why a 29 year old is dating someone who’s not even old enough to drink, I think we can live without a quote from Kirsten. -Us
• It’s official, CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric will gleek out alongside Sue Sylvester on the post-Super Bowl episode of Glee. • Kate Winslet is secretly in love with Michelle Williams…er, sort of. The British actress hosted a private dinner for Williams during which she admitted having a “secret love affair” with the star “from a distance.” Of course, she made sure to banish the creepy by clarifying that Williams’ talent makes her want to be her friend. Besides, I don’t think anyone would be creeped out if Kate Winslet dreamed of being their friend. Kate, you can have dreams of a “fantasy friendship” with me any day. -NY Post

Don't Stand Next To Jennifer Aniston
- The producers for Dancing with the Stars already know who they want for Christmas as they return to the tea kettle that brought them grizzly ratings (enough puns for you? I’m getting them out of my system early). Rumor has it that they are approaching former first dude (UGH) Todd Palin to dance. E!
- Jessica Simpson still likes to eat. Which, judging from recent photographs, shouldn’t come as a surprise. Her NYC Thanksgiving weekend dinner went well as she managed to not eat everything in sight, including her fiancee. Popeater
- Chelsea Handler did not like being photographed next to Jennifer Aniston on their recent vacation together. I would make some quip about not wanting to be photographed next to Jennifer Aniston in any context but after looking at these photos, hell, I want to be next to Jennifer Aniston. Us

Kim Kardashian's In Hot Water
Kim Kardashian may be the most searched person on Bing, but the credit card venture she and her sisters tried to start up is already hitting a wall and shattering into a million plastic shards. Their prepaid debit cards – dubbed “Kardashian Kards” – venture is under fire for “predatory” fees (and improper spelling). Wisely, the trio has promptly decided to GTFO. -Popeater
Word has it that John Mayer almost derailed the Katy Perry-Russell Brand mega romance. The night before Perry met her British hubby, she was slinging back drinks with the Don Juan of the music world and get this: she was actually really into it. She was even exchanging texts with Mayer on that fateful VMA night when she threw that water bottle of love at his bed-head. -E!Well this is one way to pay your respects…to your favorite whiskey. Pink spilled the beans about her unborn child’s name – if it’s a boy, he’ll be named Jameson after the delicious amber elixir. Pink’s hubby, Carey Hart is not loving the name, but dude at least she’s not naming him Audio Science or Jermajesty. -Popeater
Can’t a guy wear some leather pants to a movie premiere? Apparently once you near 50, even if you’re as sexy as Brad Pitt, leather pants are no longer okay. After rocking the look at the Paris premiere of Megamind, the internet is in an uproar about the aging (gracefully) actor’s wardrobe. Here’s what’s up: he’s Brad-freaking-Pitt and he can wear whatever he wants. -Us
Harry Potter isn’t exactly synonymous with scandal, but that’s changing pretty quickly. One PostSecret.com user is accusing a Harry Potter cast member of fathering her child. Last week an anonymous postcard featuring Harry Potter stars like Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Jason Isaacs, Tom Felton, Alan Rickman, Oliver Phelps and James Phelps read "One of these men is the father of the most amazing little girl in the world. He's never met her. He never will. He probably can't even remember my name." Felton and the Phelps brothers have denied the rumors, but the other stars still remain mum. Does anyone else notice that one of these things is not like the others? -Celebuzz
Johnny Depp told Vanity Fair that Disney was worried about Jack Sparrow being too “gay.” Depp even said that they “couldn’t stand” Sparrow and even went as far to ask if the character was meant to be gay. Chill out Disney, I’m sure that the of millions of moviegoers’ dollars that Depp’s flamboyant pirate allowed you to plunder should be enough hush money. -Huffpo
And Charlie Sheen will have to adopt a new strategy to get out of this pickle. Deny, deny, deny doesn’t work when investigators subpoena your medical records from the night of your rumored coke binge. You should go ahead and set up the plans for rehab now. Sorry, Charlie. -RadarOnline
Word has it that John Mayer almost derailed the Katy Perry-Russell Brand mega romance. The night before Perry met her British hubby, she was slinging back drinks with the Don Juan of the music world and get this: she was actually really into it. Anne Hathaway And James Franco To Host Oscars
Deadline is reporting that Anne Hathaway and James Franco have been asked by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences to host the Academy Awards, and that it "looks like" both actors have agreed to do so. The two of them are more than qualified to perform the requisite duties, as Hathaway helped Hugh Jackman re-enact Frost/Nixon two years ago, and Franco goes back and forth between posing for magazine covers in drag.
Aside from a clearly valiant effort by Academy President, Tom Sherak, to spike the ratings, both actors currently star in two of the most talked about films of the year: 127 Hours, where Franco plays mountain climber Aron Ralston, who cuts his arm off when a boulder pins him against the side of a canyon, and Love and Other Drugs, where Hathaway's character shows her breasts to Gyllenhaal's character in order to make up for the fact that she has Parkinson's and will not live long enough to take part in the clinical testing of his his erectile dysfunction drug, but does her damndest to try because he has taken it upon himself to take care of her, but only because he's fascinated by her initial rejection of him.
So what can we look forward to during the show? Both of them are bound to sing, so there's that. Oh, and make nude jokes. If they're both nominated for an Oscar, perhaps they will debate who deserves one the most in a nice song and dance. Franco may have learned how to cut off his arm, but Hathaway dated an embezzler...she's clearly an Oscar favorite.

A 'Gossip Girl' And A 'TRON' Hunk Belt A Country Tune
Despite her missteps on Gossip Girl time and again, it seems that when it comes to on-screen chemistry, B’s got it. (She’s also managed to make me jealous in a matter of seconds by having such fantastic onscreen chemistry with her handsome costar.) A clip from the upcoming film, Country Strong, shows Leighton Meester using those pipes we discovered back when she lent her voice to Cobra Starship’s “Good Girls Go Bad” and with her more recent, yet still unreleased album featuring the Ke$ha-esque track, “You’re Love’s a Drug.”
She can carry a tune, albeit without much of the country twang that her country star character would most likely bring to the song, but I’ll let it slide. The real nugget of awesomeness in this clip of an otherwise sweet, but boring song is the fact that TRON: Legacy hottie Garret Hedlund shares the stage with Meester and can actually belt a tune too. He may be sporting a slightly flesh-colored beard a la Spencer Pratt, but he’s sane enough (and handsome enough) to pull it off. Ladies, I know that the inner workings of video games probably aren’t your thing, but I bet after seeing Hedlund swoon-worthy country performance, you’re at least a little interested in sneaking into the theater (with shades and a Jackie O headscarf obscuring your face to avoid the nerdy shame) to endure a couple hours of nerddom just so you can catch a glimpse of Hedlund’s hiney in those glowing spandex jumpsuits. Be honest, the thought did cross your mind.

- Lindsay Lohan can now drive again...even though she has no where to go and can only leave the Betty Ford Center for a soda. - Daily Express

- After Charlie Sheen didn't pay his escort, Capri Anderson, for her naked suffering in a closet, she went on TV and and talked about what happened inside the suite at the Plaza. She said she was planning to file a criminal complaint (oooh!) against Sheen. Sheen and his lawyer now claim she's an extortionist (which she very well might be), and that she's breaking the code of escortism by blabbing. - ABC
