Creepy and Kooky

The new Addams Family musical opened last night on Broadway.  It stars the wonderful Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth, so it must be terrific, right? According to Ben Brantley of the New York Times, not so much.  Here's an excerpt of his deliciously bitchy review:

 "That silent scream rises like a baleful ectoplasm from a production that generally offers little to shiver about, at least not in any pleasurable way."
