Taliban Claim Responsibility for Times Square Bomb; No Evidence Claim is True

A Pakistani sect of the Taliban allegedly claimed credit for Saturday's failed car bomb attack on Times Square.  A one minute video was released in which a group claiming to be the Taliban says the bomb was in retaliation for the killings of al Qaida leaders in Iraq.  Mayor Bloomberg said that there is no evidence the Taliban or al Qaeda was involved.  Homeland Security chief Napolitano said that authorities are looking for a white man in his 40s who was seen on video tape leaving the area.  He is not a suspect, but may be a witness.
