New Hawaii GOP Congressman Charles Dijou was one of five House Republicans who voted in favor of the conditional repeal of Don't Ask/Don't Tell. When asked why, he said that straight soldiers fake the gay so they can get out of commitments.
I'll take a repeal vote any way I can get it, but in my 12 years in the Army I never saw this happen. It's a myth.
