Bands of storms for Tropical Storm Hermine hit Dallas for two days and I thought we were all going to float away. The sun came out this afternoon and it was almost startling. Last night, several tornadoes hit the city. I was cooking dinner when the tornado siren started blasting. Wes was watching the live radar on TV, so we knew it was actually about two miles away. A friend's husband captured this footage. He was driving near Love Field when the storm got so bad that he pulled off the road. The twister came right for him:
The storm picked up an 18-wheeler and threw it into an industrial building very near where this footage was shot.
