Wow, that's a surprise. It's intended to be encouragement for him to continue his mission as opposed to reward for accomplishments. It still seems a bit premature to me. I had a short story published and would like to write a novel. Would someone nominate me for the literature prize?
I kid. Actually, I believe it reflects the world's relief that we finally have a calm, measured, highly intelligent President. After 2004, I think most of the world held it's breath waiting for Americans to regain their sanity.
