The National Equality March occurred today and early crowd estimates put it at 150,000-200,000 (although those numbers are very unscientific). It was the lead story on the NBC nightly news and Lester Holt brought on Washington correspondent John Harwood to tell America that the White House considers the marchers "the internet leftist fringe" and that nothing will come of this. Wouldn't want anyone to get uncomfortable.UPDATE: The White House has denied the "internet leftist fringe" comment. Whew! I'm glad they cleared up that misunderstanding. I feel so much better now.
