California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has sighed two gay rights bills. The first creates a state holiday in honor of Harvey Milk and the second recognizes out-of-state gay marriages. This does not make up for vetoing marriage equality twice and vetoing Harvey Milk day once, but it's a start.
