A large group of teabagger protesters hit Congress yesterday to protest the health care reform bill that they know nothing about. They showed their true colors when they encountered several members of Congress. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) was spat on. Civil rights hero Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) was called a ni**er to his face and Rep. Barney Frank was called faggot and protesters shouted at him with lisps. Rep. Bob Clyburn (D-SC) called it "absolutely shocking and said "I heard people saying things that I have not heard since March 15, 1960 when I was marching to try and get off the back of the bus." Clyburn went on to say "It doesn't make me nervous as all. "In fact, as I said to one heckler, I am the hardest person in the world to intimidate, so they better go somewhere else."
In Pine View, NY, Rep. Louise Slaughter's (D-NY) office was vandalized when someone threw a brick through the window.
The scumbag who spat on Rep. Cleaver was arrested but Cleaver declined to press charges.
The Teabaggers are celebrated by the media and Republican leaders like Sarah Palin as a "movement." They are nothing but racist, homophibic, ignorant scum.
